    I know someone who changed their child's name at 14months because they didn't like how it sounded when people said it. I guess you don't know how a name will turn out until it's been used. Easier now then later I guess.

    hmmm that is a bit weird, but i guess better than a few years down the track, when the kid is old enough to remember or recognise the name change?....

    They did pay to change it as they had already registered it and yes they are Heston Blumenthal fans It wasn't a middle name or anything - a complete name change.

    They are moving to Sydney so they thought that the name change was best done now to coincide with the move so that will probably help.
