Thanks so much for your suggestions Ladies

I don't know why Dh is so stuck on American names ... maybe because he studied in the States and loved it We know 3 Inianna's who get Indi or India which is why I am reluctant to go there, also we have a Georgia in our family circle

Some of your suggestions we have tossed around actually and the only thing we HAVE decided on is no other "S" or "Sh" name so my two fav S names, Savannah and Sierra, are out - only because we have Shae, Sheba and Shilo another S would be a bit much for us

Chloe is a pretty name I am just worried its too normal sounding when teamed with Shae or Nikita, we've seemed to go for more unique names but comin gup with a third is really doing our heads in. But then again.... maybe a change is good?

I don't expect to have a name "chosen" in the next few weeks but I would like to have an agreed upon Short list before we hit 30 weeks and nabbing DH and locking him into a Baby name conversation is a tough gig as he looks for any opportunity to escape

From the suggested names I like :

Layla (we have a Leila on a maybe list)
    Tali
Zoe (except there was a farm dog called Zoe)
    Zali

Will run them by DH and see how he goes ......

Amara is a gorgeous name, it's a pity your DH hates it so much.
Tinks he admitted last night the ONLY reason he doesn't like it is he thinks it sounds too ethnic (not that there is anything wrong with that) I said that was a little ironic because he had Nicola on the list.

I think Amara Mai is lovely ,i really don't think it sounds 'ethnic' at all & i think it goes well with your other children's names.

I think that Indi and Shae sound great together. Chloe is very pretty but a little more common.

    What about Rani or Ranee?

I used to look after 2 beautiful little sisters who were Shae and Layla, I love them together!

I also like Zoe, not Zali so much but I used to love Zara.

    I vote Layla/Leila Mai

It's good to know his reason behind it, even if it is a little bit silly . I've had Amara going through my head all day, I don't think I like the sound of Amara Mai. Too many M's for me.

    What about Liana Mai.

Chloe was on our short list for DD.

Given our surname Indiana is never going to be a choice for us.

Oooh, I love Indiana!!! It was on our list for DD and I still love it but given DD's name also starts with 'I', it might be a bit much if we had it.

    Love it Nae!!

Dunno about Atlanta, it's different like that but would have to sit with it for a while
Chloe is ok, IMO it's a lot more common than your dd's names but Chloe Mai does have a nice ring about it.
