Our daughter was born on 23/12 and we named her Gabriella after the archangel Gabriel who announced the birth of Jesus. The male version is Gabriel.

Coincedentaly our latest daughters name is also christmassy - we liked it so much from when we were pregnant with DD1 that it just stuck with us - Natalya which is a version of Natalie/Natalia which is Latin for Christmas Day.

If you are really desperate the name Joshua can be traced back to be a derivitave (sp?) of Jesus and therefore a christmas name too.

Thank you all so much - I will present the list to DH and see if we can finally decide on a name.

I met a man called Jesus at work the other day.

I like Holly, Natalia, Joy, Mary for girls and Joseph, Nicholas, and Gabriel for boys.
