    Dale for a girl???

What do you think? I love slightly masculine names for girls, but hubby and I are really finding it hard to agree on something.

I quite like the name but would probably change the spelling to Dayle- just to give it that feminine touch. I once knew a lady whoses name is Dayle and she was very lovely.
    Good luck with deciding!

I knew a Dale in my year at high school, she ended up vice-captain A really great name I think. I wouldn't put a 'y' in there personally, probably because I knew a 'Dale' so I don't really see it as an exclusive boys name.

I think Dale is beautiful. (I'm not a huge y in names person for some reason)

Do you have other boy/girl names on your list? I love James, am quite partial to Elliott (watched too much Scrubs perhaps), and Cameron is okay too.

I know a girl called Dale and her husband has a traditionally 'feminine' name so it confuses people sometimes (they think she's him and vice versa) but other than that I like it.

I also prefer Dayle for a girl.

I'm not keen on Dale for a girl, but have you considered Cameron or Jordan? These can both be shortened to more feminine nicknames if she so wishes, Cammy or Jordie.

    Just a suggestion

There's a female model or something called James. I also love Jolie which could easily be Joel. Joele?

I dont like the name dale for a girl or a boy! lol
But What about Frankie?...I like Cameron for a girl too. You could go the Darryl (Hannah) route too maybe? But I cant imagine Daryl as a girls name - too weird with DH being Daryl lol
