Question Darcy = Boy or Girl?

When you hear the name Darcy (either spelt Darcy or Darcey) do you think of a boy or a girl?

I think of a girl. If it was for a girl you could specifically girlify it by making it Darcie. for a boy I would stick with the y

Traditionally a boy but more commonly a girls name these days.

It's a lovely name for either gender IMHO

DP's best mate is Darcy, so I think boy. But I have seen it used for girls too.

I agree with Ali, I would make it Darcie for a girl.

A girl, until a friend called their little boy Darcy & now I think boy LOL. Like Charlie it's becoming a genderless name & I like it either way.

I know someone with a boy named Darcy, but it could be a boy or girls name really.

It's a traditional boys name in my family. So I think boy (well actually I think of my Uncle Darcy, lol)

I used to see it as a boy but now see it as a girls name. Kind of like Shannon, it used to be a boys name but now you see it more for girls!
