So far River is the front runner for me BUT.........I think of Nelle when I hear it and while that is NOT a bad association ( ) I feel dodgy for even considering stealing it hahahaha I also adore Jude but dh thinks its too "girly" (well girly isnt the word he used but you get the idea).

River was the one name that popped up on both lists for names similar to Jett and Ripley!

I like River too, and i am sure Nelle wouldn't care at all! But River and Ripley are kinda similar...... not that it matters, just pointing it out!

Talen - unfortunately the child is a nightmare so bad association

Lane - I know an adult who used to be Elaine, had a sex change and became a man called Lane so i find it a bit weird.

I know about 5 girls called Lane. My nephew is Drake. I know a little boy called River, 3 called Ari and then there is Jude Law

River is very popular around these parts - so it's not a name I would choose just because of it's popularity.

I love August - Gus. That would be my choice.

I also like Jude. However, I have a thing about my kids all having differing initials so I would not choose a name with the same initial as the other/s.
