I don't dislike itBut I wouldn't choose it myself. Have to say though, it is nicer than Agatha!
I don't know why this name suddenly came to me, but if I have a girl I want this name and no other. Last pg I wanted Agatha for a girl and was hell bent on it, though DP didn't agree. This is my girl name this time around, PATENT PENDING!!111
do you like . . . Margot (pronounced Mar-go)?

Looooooooooooooooooove it!
I really like the name, and have a friend with the same name, spelt exactly the same way, and she is one of the biggest personalities I know, as well happy all the time.
Hope your DP agrees this time around x
I really like it. Get ready for some mis-pronounciations though!
no i dont sorry

hmmmm, I knew a woman who worked with DH who was named Margot and she was absolutely gorgeous looking, but REALLY thick, so this puts me off
No, I don't really like it, sorry. I agree that it is nicer than Agatha though.
I dont like it, but that probably because the only Margot I have ever known when I was younger, she was a COW lol
I really dont like that name anyway though...
Much prefer something like Mabel if you go down that track
Personally, Margot reminds me of escarcot...
I think it's a pretty name. The little bubba on Stuart Little 2 is called Margot.
I like it.
sorry, not a fan
sorry... i dont really like it. but who cares what anyone thinks right?!
its not bad. i went to uni with a girl called Margot but she pronounced the T (mar-got)
Those who dislike it, do you think its an old biddy name? Limeslice suggested Mabel as an alternative but to me that's an old ladies name. Might be just my interpretation though.
LOL am kind of glad I didn't name DD Agatha, everyone seems to dislike it rofl! Aparently in Greek it means "manly" which is why DP refused.
