I think Evie "matches" its a very pretty name btw!
I'm one of three Neville, Chanel & Leighcandice. Our names don't really go together as such but like others have said you get used to them so they sound like they do!
The more you say it, the more it'll seem to just go together!
I think they should match within reason. for example you don't want 2 kids with really 'normal' modern names ( say Carina and Tom) and the mix it up with something a little out there (like Mistaya).
so if one name is a little unusual or different (or very normal) then you should probably continue with the theme. You don't want one child singled out.
But otherwise, it really depends on personal preference. personally I like long names that can be shortened into nicknames. others prefer short names which cann't be shortened any further.
i dont think lenghts as such have a big impact but if they rhyme or have a silly theme i think its strange.
on Dr Phill today there were twin boys on it Taylor & Tyler, i think they could have come up with something a bit more different they already share the same everything else!
and like if u had an Adam & Eve, Romeo, Juliet type deal but Evie is a very pretty name and goes with Gaby & Alex shortened or their full names.
Nixon & Tyron just so happened to be the same length ending in "on" we were going on our initals to match mum & dad and picked the names we liked within that.
having said all that my fav girls name has always been Tylah, if i had a girl now i dont think i could have a Nixon, Tyron & Tylah (2 Ty's)
i've never posted in here before i was just having a sticky beak around really. But i did nanny a little girl who was gorgeous called Genevieve which they shortented to Evie and Eva depending on what came out- and squeeba when she was having cuddles. I am particularly partial to this name myself. I also think it goes very nicely- Gabriella, Alexander and Genevieve. Good luck x
