Emaline?

Hi

My due date has been and gone and Im still not sorted with a middle name for a girl. I thought about using my middle name but dont really like it with the girls name we picked. Then thought I should combine my first and middle name to make a name, and Emaline is it! What do you think? DH is no help for me as he thinks middle names are not necessary whereas I do, so it is all up to me.

I love it! It reminds me of Anne of Green Gables too. I love those kinds of names so I say go with it! Hmm, now you've got me thinking of Emmeline if we have another girl!

Great, thanks for that, I wasnt sure if sounded a bit odd! I didnt realise that it was acutally a name either or that it was related to Anne of Green Gables.

I love, love, love it ... Emeline or Emmeline

We almost did the same as a middle name for our DD ... We came up with ADELLE ... using beginning of DP's first name ADam & end of my first name lorELLE ... BUT we ended up naming her middle name after my sister whom ended up having a huge fall out with me when DD was 9mths old cause my sister thought we named our DD after her in pity cause she has no children (how awful she thought such a dreadful thing) & she requested DP & i change our ' only child's ' name thru deedpoll ... So, on that note PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE name your DD after YOU (as i wish i did just that) !!!!!!!!!!!
