Not books... but from a fantasy game - I guess they aren't terribly unusual but I LOVE some of them.

    Morrigan
    Flemeth
    Leliana
    Wynne
    Anora
    Neria
    Shianni
    Branka

    Valendrian
    Zevran
    Sten
    Bodahn
    Cailin
    Ohgren
    Endrin
    Maric
    Loghain
(there was also a duncan, alistair, eamon but they're boring )

That's all the ones i can remember off the top of my head...

We seriously thought about Arwen for DD2.

I love the David Eddings books too, Aphrael is beautiful.
I like Kerrigor & Lirael, Ryelle, Leliana.

    All beautiful & unusual

I know an IRL Arwen. She's into medieval dancing stuff so I don't know if that's the name her parents gave her or if she just helped herself.

    Also know twins called:
    Isabeau from Ladyhawke
    Elora from Willow

My old username on here use to be Laranna which I shortened from Aglaranna which is from Magician. I had Laranna on my girls names list but DH wouldn't let me

Two other names I like are from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series - Nynaeve and Egwene.

    Digory
    Rillian
    Tirian

I used to pronounce my name Arwen when I was little. And Digory is a normal name, like Cecil or Roderick.

Two favourite fantasty names from me:

    Jareth (Labyrinth's Goblin King)
    Eskarina (Discworld: Equal Rites)

Many others have been mentioned. I'll come back with some more, although I tend to like "bad guy" names.

I always liked Nevare (Nuh-Vair), from Robin Hobb's Soldier Son Series.
    Unusual for a male name.

There are many more I've liked but am having a mental blank. Will have to scope the book case.
