First initial and last initial the same?

Ok so top of the list of names at the moment is a name that will result in our son having the initials A.A. Besides putting him at the top of every roll call list, what are the general thoughts about this?

My daughter is an A.A (AJA with middlename). No problems what so ever with it

My DD is B.B. She doesn't have any issues with it either.

One of the names DH so desperately wants starts with a B and so does our surname. To me when I say it out loud it sounds like a mouthful, but that is I think because it's only a one syllable name and there's nothing to break it up.
I don't think that helped much did it?
I don't see anything wrong with matching initials though.

If we have a boy he will be AA. With some kind of middle name. I don't mind. Our girl is EEA. We're into vowels.

Heh, thanks girls - was having a minor overthinking at 3am preggo moment I think...

Middle name will start with either D or G. Feeling a lot better about it now, plus had a chat to DH and he reassured me as well.

My mum is SAS or SS. As kids we never noticed in school until we were learning to spell names etc.

If it sounds nice, go for it
