    What about Fabian
That would need to be Fabienne for a girl

    Soliel- Pronounced soh-ley
    Brielle
    Eloise
Except the correct spelling is Soleil (means sun)

    I love Anouk.

Edith is not actually French, Edith Piaf was criticised for not having a classic French name and for refusing to change it. But I associate it with French for that reason.

Fabienne could also be Fabianne? I think?

    Perette
Annette (I know, the A, but it's so pretty!)
    Brigitte
    Dominique
Adele (I know, again, but I love it and can't use it )

I know a gorgeous French girl, Anne-Laure. (prounounced 'an-law' sort of but with a beautiful french tone IYKWIM) (I know no A names but...)

I love the French habit of double barrel! So decidedly french to be extravagant in a reserved sort of way

Otherwise, Anne-Laure mentioned she wants to call her first born girl Lisette. Sounds like a lovely name, especially in her French accent.

Otherwise I second, Genevieve and Juliette!

Beatrice! I guess the way we pronounce it is pretty un-French, but it's still a lovely name. And another one I can't use

    GOOD POINT! The french do love a hyphenated name... Jeanne-Marie, Marie-Elise, Marie-Jacques, Marie-Claude, Marie-Lisette

Thank you so much for all the lovely suggestions. Some of them are definitely favourites for me too! Just need to convince DH and have one stand out for both of us.

    Great list, guys!

I love Madeline too. Also Lacey is of old French origin. We are considering this name seeing as we have a Madeline ourselves, continue with the French theme hehe

OMG OMG OMG i love French names ... (my name is French) and well my DD's first name and also her two middle names are French, her first name starts with ' C ' and one of her middle names starts with an ' A ', so no point in suggestion those so all i have left to offer you is her other middle name which is Elise

I also have always loved Corrine but that's out too with a ' C '

... so many beautiful French names to chose from, oh i envy you

I knew a little girl named Ondine (pronounced Ondean) and i think it's really pretty. She used to get Onnie for short.
