Is Chelsi too similar to Charli ???

If we have a boy next time there is no issue with names. A few years back I mentioned to DH that I quite liked Brock for a boys name and he pounced on it straight away (I'm sure because of peter brock )

We cannot agree on any girls names though, although we both like Chelsi but worry that it's too similar to Charli.

Sooo, does Charli & Chelsi sound cute together or just downright ridiculous???

i think if you reaaalllly want it, you should spell it chelsea, just to differentiate it from charli

I think they sound very cute...but.... on a practical level it might be a mouthful on a day to day basis. I have Isabelle and Elizabeth - Belle and Beth and I'm always stumbling over each one!

My kids are Lily and Liam... I thought it would be too similar, but it's not really. Do what you think you should. If like them together, don't worry!

for siblings I think too similar,, if it was cousins then I would say fine..

but they are very nice names.. and they do sound cute together.. but I personally would spell Chelsi ==== Chelsea

I don't think they're too close though I agree it would be better to spell Chelsea that way. I sort of want to steer away from M names for our next one yet think of them all the time and think they sound cute together.

I think its ok, but I would spell Chelsie like that- with an extra 'e' (if you prefer it to the Chelsea version), so that it looks different when next to Charli.
I think they will complement each other better if they look slightly different on paper.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm not quite too sure about Olive as it reminds me of Olive Oil from Popeye. It is kinda cute though . . .
I don't mind Chelsea or chelsey. I also quite like Jorja too. I think Charli and Jorja sounds kinda cute but I cannot convince DH on Jorja.

Why are our DHs so difficult to convince?

Keep working at it spice... the perfect name will be there...

By the way I really like Georgia (I am a traditionalist with spelling!) but I have a cousin Georgina so its out for us!

Charli and Jorja sound cute together though! And they end in different vowels so that's good. A friend of mine has Olivia and Bianca and didn't realise how close the endings sounded when she named DD2...
