    Girl middle names

So we found out today that we're having another little girl. I've decided I want to name her Susannah after my mum but have no idea for middle names. DD1 is Amelia Grace and our last name is one syllable starting with D so D-names are out.

My first thought was Susannah Mae also!!!! It's my mum's middle name, my middle name and 1 of my DD's middle names. Spelt exactly the same way

Susannah is very pretty by the way

My mum's name was actually Susan but she always hated it. Plus I think Susannah goes nicely with Amelia.

Mae/May was one name DH suggested. It was his grandmother's middle name. Another idea we had was Mary (his mum is Meredith) but I think that's what his dad calls his mum and that marriage did not end well.

Kaye is my mum and my middle name. I always wanted a daughter of mine to have that as a middle name, until we had DD1. But I'm not sure if it's too much of mum, itms.

I do like Susannah Rose though.

Susannah Kaye sounds really pretty but i do understand what you mean about being 'too much of your mum'. I'm sure she'd feel pretty special and honoured if do did choose it though

Do you have any family names that might fit?

We're so lazy my names are my middle name options for each of our girls! But I'm not sure about Susannah Tuesday.

I agree I love both Susannah Rose and Susannah Mae and they both go beautifully with your DD1's name also..

    Congratulations by the way!
