    Girl Names

our little spudette is due in June and we are deciding on names for her. Middle name is pretty much chosen...Luise (although DH is saying he doesnt mind that as a first name now).

    I like L ara L.uise
    DH Likes I.l.ara L.uise
I also like Ch. loe L.uis e (with the possibility of maybe a Luise-Marie for the middle name)

Does anyone have any other suggestions along these lines?

    thanks

Thanks for your votes so far.

Have just been thinking of nicknames that she would be called with any of the names. I figure Ilara will get shortened to Lara or Illy...any other ideas?
and Chloe? Does anyone know what Chloe gets shortened too?

DD2 is Chloe we love it. She has an array of nicknames thanks to DD1 calling her Bowie since she was born! So the poor little thing gets Bowie, Bo-Bo, Chlo-Bo, The Bobes and just Chlo. Bowie is the fave though

I prefer Chloe, although it is my nieces name, so I am a little biased ;-)

I prefer Lara from your list, although prefer Tara as a girls name Chloe is very sweet as well but the other names I'm not as keen on.

ooooohhh! I love Ilara! Its a bit quirky, but still pronouncable and mainstream enough to not be too odd!

    Good luck with the choosing!
