Elinor was in a Georgette Heyer book (which makes it awesome)

    Some good ideas!

    How could I forget Penelope!!

I like Katarina but its very close to my name, not sure if that's do-able.

    Thoughts on Constance? Connie?

    Thanks for all the ideas!

DH has actually suggested a name - Scarlett. Gorgeous name BUT our last name is a colour! Is this do-able or a case of heinous naming?

I would stay away from the double colour name.

I think it still depends on the last name, but that's probably because I don't really think of Scarlett as a colour. Others may think differently. But, for example, I think Scarlett Brown sounds lovely.

My DD is Scarlett (Loooove the name obviously!) and my maiden name is a Colour also.. I totally couldn't do the two Colour names. I don't think people tend to really think of Scarlett as a Colour but might as soon as it is paired with another Colour.. Like, Scarlett Black sounds like a Dulux shade or a nightclub or something to me haha

If ds1 was a girl he was going to be either :

    Ahlia
    Sienna
    Harlem

    Ds2 was gonna be

    Della
    Delany

If our next baby is a girl it will be

    Emberlee
    Ebony
    Estelle
    Evie
    Ecko
    Emelia

(as you can see once ds1 had a name starting with C we had an alphabetical thing going)

Other girl names I LOVE are:

    Sawyer
    Ashleigh
    Felicity
    Talitha
    Hayley
    Elissa
    Holly
    Hannah
    Ruby
    Payton
    Maisy
    Macey
    Tia-bella
    Miley
    Bridgett

Oof this is hard, fun though! Will attack DH tonight with more potential names (Emmeline!) and opposing Scarlett views.

    Amelia is fantastic

    Daisy is beautiful.

    I hate Scarlett.

I think something girly and old fashioned would suit your family
