My DD was born on her Uncle Ryan's 18th b'day ... when DD was 6weeks old i met my hairdresser's female cousin (she was about mid 30's) and her name was " Rhiane " ... pronounced like the boy's name Ryan ... as her folks thought they were expecting a boy

She told me she has always loved her name and she like the boyish ring to it.

... i loved it and if i had heard if it before my DD was born i would have considered it as a middle name after her Uncle Ryan

Rhiane is a girl's name & it's Irish ... it could be shortened to Rhi (sounding like Ry as my BIL's name Ryan is shortened to Ry, also my friend's DF is a Ryan shortened to Ry).

Can also be spelt " Rhian " !!!!!!!!!!!
