Ooh thanks guys for the feedback! Ha, I quite like Elwyn...it's the Kiefer thread all over again Rowellen, omg, Esmae would be gorgeous spelling! My name is Lily-Mae, DD is Isla-Mae, to name the next girl Esmae would be a beautiful way to continue that tradition Adding it to my list.
That would be a lovely tradition Do it!!! I think the Esmae spelling is so pretty. I had it on my list but my DH was a bit anti old fashioned names

Oh DH loves it. So it's now the top of our list! Thanks hun! Isla and Esmae sound and look so cute together too.

I like Esmae Emilie, Esmae Audrey and Esmae Penelope now. But, I'm still open to more names, so any other suggestions welcome!

So far my other name looks like Tenielle Naomi Charlotte

Esmae Emilie or Esmae Emily is lovely. I normally prefer Emily, but the other spelling looks lovely with that first name.

    Other combinations could be:
    Esmae Rose
    Esmae Grace
    Esmae Joy
    Esmae Pearl
    Esmae Edith
    Esmae Ruby
    Esmae Susannah (Susannah means lily)

Does Isla-Mae have a middle name or is Mae her middle name?

Technically it's her full name, like mine, but I mostly drop the -Mae and just treat it like a middle name, I assume Isla will too.

Love them all (esp Audrey) but Esme reminds me of Esme Watson from A Country Practice! (yeah I'm old) haha

or.. you could name her Melissa because you know what that stands for!!

Either way I am so happy for you. xxx

Seeing the Mae is a second name thing, would you use Esmae as the middle name? It just seems to fit right there for me, but if you love it then use it as a first name of course!

I like Audrey Esmae or Emilie Esmae.

I love Esme and Audrey! They were on my list, but DH said no.. I was going all cluck-cluck over an adorable newborn in the supermarket today (as you do lol) and her name was - not sure how it was spelt - but it was pronnounced Am-millie. Might be an alternative to Emillie? I thought it was absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations btw!

Thanks guys! DH really likes Esmeralda, he's big on giving full names and then using nicknames, not naming nicknames itms. I like Esmeralda a lot, and we'll just use Esmae most of the time If we go with that name, that is

I like Esmerelda You could use Mae as the middle name, then when you are using Esmae as a NN you are combining them.

A couple of names that need revising are Eartha and Elvira

I like Isolde, but doubt DH would go for it. Are you ok with another 'I' name? Irene is lovely too.
