Ok... I am being really lazy and I can't find my names book.
I have been thinking of names for our newest edition (I can never start too early ) and DP and I have agreed that we both like the idea of a good strong names of mythological gods. I think I really like Odin thus far, what other suggestions do you have? I don't want anything too far out or hard to get used to...
Thank you
Tanya
ETA: I am only looking for boys names... I never get a chance, so I am making the most of it

I like Odin too! (meaning Frenzy though..lol are you sure?)
Pan and Loki are my favourites, but both unpredictable and cheeky! Youd have to be sure you'd want that! lol
Thor - thunder
Ares - Battle/war
Apollo -Apollo has been variously recognized as a god of light and the sun; truth and prophecy; archery, medicine and healing; music, poetry, and the arts; and more.
Freyr
Tyr
Ashur - sky god
not quite a God, but Tenzin is the Dali Llamas name
I would have thought tear as in the ones you cry, but Im not sure.
ETA: amysarah - thanks. i wans sure as the pronunciation I know comes from gaeleic tyr-na-nog, but then they say the Celts were Vikiing descendants so maybe thats where it comes from
Tanya- Jacob and Zachary are strong biblical names (or so I have been told). I also love the name Xavier. A lady in SCN in Melbourne changed the X for a Z though. I have a baby name book if u wanted to have a bo peep.
I like Amun. Amun was one of the most prestigious and important Egyptian Gods, and at one point he was recognized as the "King of Gods". He went from being a God of Air, to being called the Creator God, then a God of Fertility, and then a Sun God as well. I figure if he could be all that then he and his name must be pretty strong
I like the name Mihos too. He was an Egyptian Lion-God.
