Good luck, I found boys names really hard!
so we are a few weeks off meeting baby boy #3 and we havent settled on a name yet.
It's doing my head in cause both ds1 and ds2 we had picked mid way through the pregnancy.
we like names that a less common although not too different.
ds1 is N ixon Milton
ds2 is T yron James
both boys have our initials (ds1 has mine NMP and ds2 has dh's TJP)
so the question begs if this boy will be the odd one out or not...
These are the names we have on a short list but for some reason cannot 100% committ to, some we both like, some only i like and some only dh likes:
Clay Thomas
Koda Thomas
Kale Thomas
Nate Thomas
Ronin Thomas
Ryker Thomas
Taj Nicholas
Zeke Thomas
PLEASE HELP can you come up with some other names that MAYBE i havent come across with all my names searches and out of the names i have listed which do you like and what do you think goes best with the 2 older boys.

Nic, we must have similar taste in names because I love all of them. I prefer Ronin, as Ronan though. I think it looks stronger with the 'a', lol. Zeke is my least favorite on your list. Actually, if I listed them in order of my favorites it would probably be:
Taj (I like Taj, but I really really love "Taye")
Kale
Ronan
Ryker
Nate
Koda (although I used to see quite a few pets with this name at the clinic)
Clay
Zeke
Hmm, as for other ideas... I like Jaryd, Declan, Taite... Gosh, where did I put my "boy name" list? I had another 8-9 on there before DH went through it and we decided on a boy name if this little one turns out to be blue.
From your list I like:
Nate Thomas
Taj Thomas
I think Nate goes best with your other two boys.
Love Zeke Cale and Clay!!
Mylitta- funny you should say about Koda cause we were watching bondi rescue the other week and their was a dog called Koda, we sat there and went ohhhhh.......not sure if it changes our decision on the name or not.... i do only know of 1 boy called Koda, which i kinda like,
Nate is one of my fav's but having trouble convincing dh on that one! and Nate Thomas would mean he had both our initals
i like Kade/Cade but have a gf already with Kade so thats out
Taite was another i originally brought up but dh kept thinking of potata each time
I prefer Ronan i just put that spelling in there cause that was dh's name & spelling, but im not too keen on this name (and also have an interstate friend who has a ds with this name)
You might just have to go with Taye because I love itHehehe. We would probably be using it except a close friend named her son Taye.
I like Ronin but spelt that way I think of the Japanese word not the European name. Which is why I like it because I don't much fancy Ronan which is silly because they are pretty much the same name except one makes me think of an annoying singer with a boy band background and the other makes me think of Japanese warriors and car chases through the streets of Paris.
I like Nate Thomas. This also uses both your first initials so it just stretching the theme a little. Like Rowellen said I think it goes best with your boys names too.
I like Nate too, and given your first boys have yours and your DH's initials I think its a nice touch to continue the theme.
Just on Taye - I have nephews called Taye and Tyson, which is shortened to Ty. Not sure if you shorten your T yron to Ty, but calling Taye and Ty gets pretty confusing when they're cousins, let alone when you're doing it all the time as siblings.
I like Ronin for you, mainly because it has two syllables like your others boys' names and it ends in 'n' which I think matches nicely![]()
Hey honey!
Another vote for Nate Thomas from me. Zeke is next.
Hope you find a combo that works for your gorgeous little man. Maybe you'll just know, when you see him?
Mylitta- i like Taye but unfortunatley it is out because T yron does get Ty. Ty and Tay would be somewhat confusing!
Onyx thats interesting about the Ronin/Ronan lol! it is strange how the same name with different spelling can appeal or turn you off.
speaking of which 3littlemonkeys i hope you dont mind i just text a suggestion to dh of C aelan and he likes it and suggested Kaelan.....what do you think?
we both like Kale but our surname ends in ell and i just dont think kale ...ell sounds well together, whereas Kaelan ...ell sounds fine. and Kaelan we could shorten to Kael (Kale)
does it sound ok having 3 names ending in on/an?? N ixon, T yron & Kaelan??
i love the sound of Nate against our surname if dh liked it more we would be set. its him not sure on the name cause he knows a Nate (well actually a Nathan but got called Nate) that he didnt like!!!
Well, I obviously think Caelan is an awesome nameNo matter how it is spelt. I don't know if it has an origal spelling, I have seen so many ways to spell it. I have also read alot of meanings for it, some being- 'slender' and 'fair' respectively, and 'high feild'. And also 'man of boats' and 'strong fighter'. It's also known to be a unisex name. So, all up to me, it's a wel rounded, strong and multi purpose name!
And in my opinion, it sounds great with your other boy's names.

doesnt your little man have any nicknames or do you use his full name?
do people generally know his name once you say it once? (not that that bothers me i often have to tell ppl ds2 name is ty RON and not ty RONE )
i was just looking up name meanings and found "slender" and under the K spelling said the meaning was "uncertain" lol. i can see there are quiet a few ways to spell it, didnt realise it could be a girls name either.
will talk to dh more about it tonight.
Nate was the name we were going to use if this bubba had been a boy![]()
