I really like Nicholas for a boy. I haven't heard it much lately. Or Beau. For a girl, Freya (what I wanted to name Jade but XP chose) and I love names like April and June
So DF and I have had a boy and girl name picked out for a very long time.
Isla-Mae
Peter George
Last name is Collins (haha how prim and proper if we have a boy, right??)
We chose Isla because we both have strong Scottish roots and it's our favourite Scott name. Mae because it's part of my name too (Lily-Mae) so we wanted to pass that on. Peter, after my father who passed away 5 years ago, and George, for DF's father, who passed away in October
But! We'd like a few more options, jic the names we have don't 'fit' the bub, or if there's something else out there we haven't thought of. So if you can think of any names similar to ours (pretty and girly for girls, strong and masculine for boys) we'd love to hear them. We like less common names but still traditional, so names perhaps that were once in vogue and now are not. TIA!

That's our boy name, should we ever have one, named after my much loved and cherished grandfather and it's nice because it isn't so common anymore, but still kinda timeless.
Your names are beautiful, PZ. It's so great once you "know". We had our names for the longest time too and they never felt wrong to us. Our daughter's name is in the top 5 most popular names now though, wasn't when we picked it, but we loved it too much to change it.
