I think Ivy Reagan sounds great (and better than vice versa), and not at all silly with Kailey....

I like Reagan Ivy better, (or atleast Reagan as a first name better than Ivy) Reagan actually reminds me of a chick (off mcloads daughters) before the president...

    .
TOTALLY the person I thought of when I saw the name Reagan!

I love Ivy. There's just something about that name...

The best way to find out if Ivy and Kailey sound too similar is to yell them. Honestly!! You'll hear if you like saying the names together and hear if they are too alike.

LMS thats funny my ds is william and his cousin is oscar.

Ivy Scarlett is nice, and wont be too conflicting. You hardly use middle names anyway, and you still end up using a name that you like.

I don't like Ivy and Kailey together. Ivy is an old-fashioned name, and Kailey isn't. If you want something similar, what about Ava or Eva? Then you don't have the "-ey" endings together, and I think Ava and Kailey go better together.

Reagan is pretty and you don't hear it a lot. I knew a beautiful Reagan a couple of years ago, a truly sweet soul.

Charlotte, i actually do that! Well not out aloud but i say the name over and over and i think of different scenerios. I think Ivy Reagan is a great name, its really grown on me but i worry that DP doesn't like it.. i think it goes really well with his last name and its a very hard last name to have names go with

I would have loved to have used either Ava or Eva but i have a close friend whose daughter is named Ava and one of nieces in Ella and my DDs name already sounds like her other daughter Casey so i wouldn't want to look awkward having two girls with similar sounding names.

Knowing DP he will want Reagan Ivy which i could live with as i do really like both names so either way theyre used ill be happy.

Ok so i put the name to my mum and she loves Reagan Ivy

    So its sorted.

Thanks so much for all your opinions. I may have to think up a second girls name if it turns out to be a girl just so if she doesn't look like a Reagan i have back ups.

Regan was the evil daughter in King Lear but she was married to the duke of Cornwall so she was doing OK for herself! The hero of that story was Cordelia which is a name I love!

*Sigh* DP hates the name and denies ever saying he liked the name Reagan.

So now i am back to square one not having a clue what we would call this baby if it is a girl..

So hit me with all your girl names. Preferably nothing too common though we like old fashioned names...

    I love Scarlett! Obviously haha

I think Ivy Reagan sounds nice but yea a bit eeee eeee with Kailey & Ivy, but that wouldn't worry most people so if you love it go for it!

I remember the Oscar thread! Oscar Babb, Oz Kebab.. Cute name though!

My dd1 is Harriett - old fashioned and not common these days!
dd2 is Zoe, although that is a bit common it seems

my niece is Elsie - very old fashioned

Harriett is such a cute name! But i know DP won't like it...

And Scarlett was the ONLY name we agreed on would be our second girls name when we were thinking of names for DD. Ahh damn my sister and her having a niece called Scarlett already!

Then there is Quinn.. but DPs cousin has a daughter called Quinn and we see them often so that would be very awkward..

*sigh* im doomed to never find a nice name we will both agree on.
