So, I'm 13.5weeks preg with twins so don't know what we are having. We have 2 ds's so far who are Noah and Spencer.
We have some boys names that we like but girls name ideas are few and far between. We like really girly names and names that aren't too common, it bugs me a little that in Noah's kindy class there are 2 other Noahs and I think one other in the centre but I love his name so much and from very early on in the pregnancy (even before we official knew boy or girl...but we knew it was a boy in oursleves) that baby was Noah, he couldnt have been anything else.
And has to be really girly pretty names, I love things ending in a, oe ie or e, y sounds...don't be limited by that
A little list I like... a couple are names we would consider for a girl (or girls) and others are names I like but just aren't the one (or ones) and we wont use or are too commn etc but just for ideas of what I like. And if your a visual person like me I love names that bring really girly images into you mind...chiffon and pink, running writing, swirls, vine with flowers, butterflis maybe a little midsummer nights dream????
Wow...you type and think fast! Thanks feeb, I'll go through your list and comment, I hope I don't offend anyone...especially if anyone has kids with the names...just figure it might help ppl get an idea of the types of names I like.....

My DD is Tiah ... Her daddy picked it because we just couldn't agree! Her middle name is Renee (drugged up after labour I could only remember the midwives name!)
I also liked Everleigh
I think girls names are harder than boys. You can go a little crazier with them and the choice can drive you mad!!!
Still none of them completely grabbing me Everleigh is pretty but not the one, and absolutely for having 2 boys and thinking so much more about boys names girls names are near impossible!
We're having girls and have chosen Claire and Serena, but some that I loved but DH vetoed, or we just didn't quite love as much were:
Elizabeth
Victoria
Margaret (For which Pearl, or Pearlie used to be a nickname for)
Bridgette
Imogen
Felicity
Eloise
Penelope (just doesn't work with our surname!)
Evelyn
Anastasia
I like old, classic names, in case you can't tell lol Most of them according to DH were 'too royal' though. Ironically, when my mother wanted to call me Elizabeth, thats exactly what my father said!
My daughter called herself Gretel for a week a while ago after becoming completely obsessed with the Sound Of Music. I had to call her Gretel or suffer the whines
The good thing was that I really liked the name! I found myself calling after her in the street once or twice and it felt really nice to use such a lovely girl's name.
People in the local neighbourhood and at her Kinder where she had a substitute teacher really thought her name was Gretel! I think I would consider using it if I ever had another girl.
Other than that, I like some of the other names in the Sound of Music like Liesel. It was on my list for DD2 (Natasha)
I also like variations on Natasha like Natalia.
Other suggestions I like are Felicity, Freya or Frieda (I think they sound like fairies!)
or Molly, Heidi or Holly.
