Help settle a dispute :) lol

Haha so im guna try and figure out how to poll this....but hubby and I like each others names...but we both want ours for the next boy. Lol. So tell me which first name you prefer (our individual choices) and which order you like the middle names.

Just in case I can't get the poll to work the choices are:

Keehan Edwin James Savage (Keehan is pronounced 'Key - an' )

    Clayton Oliver Mark Savage

    Keehan Oliver James Savage

    Clayton Edwin Mark Savage

If we pick one of the first two....then the next boy will be whichever out of those two we don't pick.
If we pick either the third or fourth one...then the next boy will be whichever out of those two we don't pick...
    Does that make sense? lol

    They're all noble combinations.

I like Keehan Oliver James Savage.

But, I would use Clayton Mark Edwin Savage next time, becasue I think having Edwin follow immediately after Clayton is a bit odd - to my ears it flows better having the 2 'uhn' endings separated.

Thanks It makes sense...haha but looking at our list for both boys and girls...we have a theme with alot of 'uhn' names haha. We have a three name thing going cuz that's what hubby's name consists of, and with some names it is hard. i'm very pedantic about it because i don't like just chucking them together if they sound off beat with each other. Lol. I've got a pattern with the syllables happening as well as breaking up all the 'uhn' names as much as possible. haha. If we don't have 'uhn' we have 'ah' lol

*Edit note* ohhh I just realised that you switched Edwin and Mark haha ...can I blame that on baby brain??? It makes even more sense now. Hmmm I will ponder that!

Haha thanks girls :P way to make me even more confused with more choice.
I think i didn't have the down because hubby didn't like the sound of Keehan Edwin Mark Savage as the alternate. I duno why. Lol. *Men*
We plan on a big family so chances are we will have two more boys joining us (hopfully) and we do want to use Edwin & Mark because they are both family names on my side that I really want to pass on...so that's why both the one we like for this baby and the alternate one for next time are both important now.

It seems Oliver is popular with almost everyone :P FWIW I like Keehan and hubby likes Clayton. We do like each others names and want to use them...haha but we are just deciding about who gets to use theirs first lol. But since it's pretty much split on the poll I still don't know lol

I went with Keehan Edwin James Savage so that would mean Clayton Oliver Mark Savage would be used after that right?

Now Just to confuse myself even more I would be changing the 3rd names over so: Clayton Oliver James Savage & Keehan Edwin Mark Savage. But that is just me

    yes that's right
I did have your suggestion originally...but like I said above...for some reason...hubby didnt like Edwin Mark after Keehan....but I think I might revisit the idea cuz I didn't mind it.

The more I stare at it all combinations seem equally good to me but Keehan is definitely my preference for first name.

I like both names with Oliver as the middle name With Keehan though, every time i look at it i immediately think KEY HAN, not KEY AN, so i do suggest maybe looking at changing the spelling unless you want to be correcting people all the time. Ive always loved that name but spelt Cian

Wow that is different spelling. See when I look at ur spelling I see 'see-an'. Lol funny how different ppl see different things. The only thing with the h sound is that if u go to pronounce it in the name, it's quite hard. So I figured ppl would default. Im not too worried tho if ppl pronounce it wrong. I have a really simple name n ppl still need correcting every time, so I figure no matter what I choose someone won't get it lol. Im kinda set on the spelling. But I do appreciate ur feedback so thanks
