    Opinions needed - twin boys names!

    Hi everyone,

    I would love to get some opinions on our list of names -
    One boy is 90% likely to be Jack (after DH grandfather) so the other needs to match Jack

    Jack and .....
    Samuel
    Isaac (DH loves this name)
    Max
    Angus
    George
    Fred (Freddy)
    William

    Any other suggestions are welcome we are (DH is) fairly traditional and wants stock standard strong names.

    Firstly, Congrats on your twin boys - how exciting!!

    I personally wouldn't use Isaac with Jack, as they could get "Jack & Zack". I also don't like Jack and Max; doesn't have a nice ring to it. My vote is for Jack and Angus or Jack and Samuel. I think I prefer matching a single syllable name with a double syllable name.

    hey bella,
    i like jack and isaac too of the names they sound best together. 2nd choice would be Samuel.

    personally i wouldn't go william cos it can be shortened to bill ... and you know what kids are like "jack and jill/bill went up the hill''... (seems kids aren't the only ones! lol)

    i'm so glad we have only got to pick one boys name! lol. they are so hard!

    I like Jack and Isaac or Jack and Angus. I love the name Max in general but it just doesn't go very well with Jack.

    I agree Max doesn't really go. Am pleased so many think Jack and Isaac and my fav Jack and Samuel

    I'm definitely in for Jack and Angus.

    I like Caleb too but not really a traditional strong name. That was our standby (well, mine anyway) for if this one was to be a boy. Since it's set to be a girl I don't have the difficult journey of finding a boys name!! Such a hard task compared to girl names!
