We each chose 5 names and those that we both has the same on our list for our DS were put in a hat. We had 3 out of the 5 we both liked - Andrew, Matthew and Lachlan. Lachlan was the name pulled out of the hat, the day before he arrived. We always said we would have the others as 'back-up' in case he didn't look like a Lachlan, but as soon as we saw him, we knew straight away he was a Lachlan. The Midwife asked us when he was born 'so do you have a name for him?' DH and I looked at each other and said 'Lachlan' together. We just knew
