    I used to study forestry and I would say SHA which I think is closer to the first one.

    But, again, I think it does depend a little on where you are from.

    I have also seen the spelling Akaisha which i think is prettier- plus it sounds as it looks- iykwim?

    Id say a-kay-sha too like the plant.
    However its a bit like Alicia - some people say a-leesh-a and others say A-lee-see-a.

    It depends where you're from, but probably also what you prefer. I had a friend whos name was Eleine, but her parents preferred to pronounce it E-LEE-NEE.

    I would say A-kay-sha. Named after the golden wattle. Beautiful.

    I love this name and wanted it for my first daughter, but my partner wasn't into it. I don't like alternative spellings of it though.
