The first list that DH and I wrote together I ended up crying over and throwing in the bin! Haha! So we decided to give it a rest for a little while and then come back to it!
Anyway, we have recently found out we are expecting a pink one, so now we are only coming up with one list, much easier!
We are not doing a middle name and our surname starts with M and is very basic.
Lots of the names I loved for girls started with M but we don't want MM.
So, the final few (at the moment and will prob change ) are:
Evie
Emerson/Emersyn
Amelie
Kensey/Kensie
Lana
Laine/Laney
I guess I would just love to hear your thoughts, or suggestions?? Do you think any of these are becoming too common? We would love something not too common but not something that she has to spend her entire life spelling!
Thanks in advance,
xox

the only thing is... was talking to a lovely lady who has a daughter called amelie and she said ppl always think they just spelt emily weird/wrong.
i personally love it tho!
i know a laine and an evie also, but i dont think they are common names
Ooo ooo Amelie is my fav lol can you tell? Lol!!
But I spell it Amali just so people pronounce it right.. But I have to admit I do know a couple of amali's now that dd is Amali..
I like kensey too, not common at all.. And I like it's ring kenseyyy.. Very smooth
P.s Congrats on your soon to be in your arms pink bundle very exciting !!
Thanks for your replies girls! I really love hearing your opinions and it's very helpful to hear if names are more popular than I thought, or if people aren't sure on pronunciation etc. It's great to be able to hear from you all, especially because we don't want to share our names with anyone in real life plus we are keeping the fact that she's a girl a secret from everyone!
They are all so pretty, I have an Amelie, so I am biased but it took a while for it to grow on me and now I can't imagine her being anything else. I don't think its hugely common but seems to be becoming more common which I think is good too so its not so tricky for them growing up!
I do think Evie is fast becoming popular along with other similar names like Gracie etc. Interestingly i would pronounce Amelie like emily but with AM instead and i would pronounce Amali AH MA LEE, LOVEEEEEEEE Amali and DS was going to be Amali had he been pink. I think Amelie is becoming popular (i know of quite a few), but Amali not so much. Emmerson is becoming popular too but still gorgeous.
