I was just trawling through some of the older posts on BB, and someone had recommended Nymbler for baby names. I'm using it right now to find some names to put to DH You put in some names that you like and it recommends names based on those. I'm looking up girls' names based on the boy name we've picked and our names

There's also babynamesworld, they're okay but some of the names they toss up are a bit... bizarre at times.

Just cos I'm in a missing West Wing kind of mood , here's some:

    Josh/ Joshua
    Toby
    Leo
    Charlie
    Sam
    Josiah / Jed
    Will / William
    Matt / Matthew

    And the actors:
    Bradley
    Richard
    John / Jonathon
    Dule
    Rob / Robert
    Martin
    Jimmy / Jim / James

Checked out Nymbler - funky, but not sure it makes the process easier or harder FWIW, DH & I have always loved Zachary and Joe. I think Angus, Michael and Jonas are good names too.

    Other boys' names I've liked:
Oscar, Connor, Reuben, Jesse, Jared, Lucas, Lachlan, Atticus, Jake, Darcy, Caleb, Jeremy, Rory,

When you imagine standing at the door yelling at him to come inside to clean his room, what sounds right? That's one of the ways I test how a name sounds. Also, how would it sound on football commentary (cos according to DH, our son will be a footballer one day ) - not sure if that's a dream of yours of course.

Some of our other options for DS were:

    Lachlan
    Lincoln
Lucas (**no we didn't intentionally choose L names, they were just the ones we liked!)
    Callum
    Hunter
    Tobey
    Noah
    Owen
    Aden
    Gabriel
    Jeremy

Good luck. We had a really difficult time trying to decide on a boys name!

It's not being fussy to want to give your son the perfect name for him! DH and I had a terrible time trying to agree on names. We disagreed on alot!

What kind of names do you like, maybe that will help us choose some that you like.

What are your other kids names so we can get an idea of the style you like?
With Eli, you could have Elijah and call him Eli for short.

due to some ppl i can give out exact names but we have 2 j names and 3 names that end with ey sounds, elisha is a middle name for one of my kids. all the names picked are soft names. All kids have eithor 5 or 6 letters to name too.

just relised goes 5 letter, then 6 letters then 5 letters then 6 letters with the kids in order of age

I love Eli. Not a fan of Cruz, but Eli Cruz goes well together. And I'm pretty sure I know your littlest mans name (starts with a J??) and I think it goes well with his name.
