My issue is it is a derivative of another name therefore does not have its own meaning - I like names that have their own meaning its just a "thing" with me.
I have been thinking about a similar thing this morning. There are two names we really like, but I don't like the meaning of the names. It prob doesn't help you, but it has helped me to know i am not the only one interested in the meaning of the name as well as the sound of it.
