Buddy Franklin is a pretty manly man. I think his name suits him just fine as an adult. I can imagine a high court judge called Buddy. And Daisy is such an old name that it is perfect for a granny.

    I don't think a name makes a person, i think i person makes a name.

Isn't buddy his nickname? I thought his name was Lance.

Aww i think they are cute, i'm sure it's not often he will be called by his FULL name and Buddy is fine for an older child or adult i think.

IMO they do seem OTT when said all together but yeah it's not often they will be called by their full names.

Yes his name is Lance, he wasn't born Buddy, but it is still the name he is called most often and i think it suits him.

I like their names. I wouldn't pick them for my own kids but for some reason celebs seem to be able to pull it off so I say more power to them ...

and I agree, imagine the food those kids would get to eat. Now I have food envy

I dont really like his choice in names, i find them more nick names than actual names id use.. but thats me. I just wonder how they will get treated as teenagers...

Hmmm, the jury's out for me about Buddy. My DH calls both our boys 'buddy' as a kind of nickname - ie, "what have you got there, buddy?" - but I can't say I'm in love with Buddy Bear. I don't mind the girl's names though. But, I'm of the school that it doesn't matter a damn what I think ... as long as they're happy. And heck, I guess Buddy Bear can always change his name by deed poll when he's 18. And besides, they could have called him Buddy Rabbit ....

Yay to them for having another baby. Weird names but each to their own.

A friend of a friend of mine just had a baby boy and called him Junior.

    Very Jordan-esque.

Buddy Bear is cute! We call DS2 this as it is what Tigger calls Winnie the pooh.

I find them a little bit , I mean, cute for children, but have fun making it in the adult world, Buddy Bear Ah well, different strokes and all. It's nice they had a boy, they're a pretty big family now...and mmmm imagine the food they'd eat!
Yeah -Imagine the smirks in the doctors when 'Mr Buddy Bear Oliver' is called out - oh dear. I think the girls first names are lovely, but he combos are a bit out there. But, as said, each to their own!

I've never been to a Drs where they call out your middle name. I don't recall going to a Dr that called out first and family names.

Having Buddy as a name worked out ok for Buddy Holly.

Well my doctor always uses first and last name (the locum usually pronounces it wrong haha) - but yeah, the middle name probably not - it was just an exagerated example - making light of the topic.
