    Ladies I need helppp

My husband and i just recently found out that I'm pregnant. We haven't started discussing names together but I have been thinking about it nonstop.
Our last name is Greer and it is so hard finding a name for the baby. I like names that can be shortened but I need a two syllable name to go with the one syllable last name.

I like the name Jacob but Jake Greer sounds off to me. Can you give me any suggestions, I would appreciate it so much.

I love 'J' boys name, but we have a J surname and it sounds weird. Anyway, I think Jake Greer sounds fine. Most of the time he'll be called Jacob or Jake, not by his full name.

    What about:

    Joshua - Josh
    Lucas - Luke
    Daniel - Dan
    Nicholas - Nick

Can't think of any others at the moment.

    Zachary - Zac
    Mitchell - Mitch
    Isaac - Zac

    Emiliy - Em
    Izabella - Izzy or Belle
    Abigayle - Abi
    Olivia - LLivy

There are heaps of names. Do you like traditional names?

Yes. I like traditional names. I feel like the one syllable name doesn't flow well. and the "k" noise sounds strange with the G beginning

How about a 3 syllable first name,

    Alexander Greer
    Nathaniel Greer
    Sebastian Greer
    Orlando Greer
    Jacobi Greer
    Elijah Greer
    Benjamin Greer
Gregory Greer (nah...only joking with that one)

or a name that is not usually shortened such as...

    Hunter Greer

    Good Luck
