looking for a middle name

Well I can't think of names for my own child so probably not much use to you
What about family names for middles names? That's what we're planning to do - just depends what the first name ends up being (at least you have that one sorted)

I think it also depends on the number of syllables in your last name.

For example, if your last name has two syllables, I would use a one or three syllable middle name, not a two syllable one. Ha ha, not that I listened to my own advice. With our third child, we ended up using a two syllable second name and he has a two syllable first and last name! So, what would I know? I think Charlie sounds good with a one syllable middle name.

Or what about a long one like, Alexander?

I love Charlie Ryan....I think this works beautifully.

My DS's middle name is Ryan also. It just felt like a nice strong name to compliment his first name.

We had Charlie (Charlton actually) chosen as a boy name for DD2. The middle name would have been Lewis.
