    I like it too. I would think that Mabel and Maybelle are different names. They are pronounced slightly differently.
    I much prefer Mabel.

    Hmm I searched and its not in the Top 100 on BDM which is part of our criteria. Ive never personally met one either.

    I kinda liked that I could use the nn Mab.

    Might put it in the maybe list.
