It does make it hard to pick a masculine name when lots are now used for both boy and girls. I had never heard of a female called Blake until after my own Blake was one so i guess I already have one child with a gender neutral name.

I just don't like the idea of telling everyone we named our baby Darcy and then having them ask if it was a boy or a girl. Probably not that important but I don't want to lump him with a girly name for the rest of his life

It was me who posted about my friends little boy 'Darcy'.

To me it is a boys name, I've never met a girl called Darcy before and from the pic's I've seen of little Darcy at 1 day old, there is no mistaking he is a little boy
