    I like Bea.

My son, due in May, is going to have the names of both my grandfather and DF grandfather (both from our Mum's sides). So his middle names are going to be Peter John, but we plan on just using "PJ"

    Oh thanks guys

yeah we really like the name Bea as well

but then we added betara to the mix and thats very nice as well
    so very confusing

But the main thing is we wanted a middle name that would have something to do with our Nan's that passed and if we couldnt work out how to do it we were not going to have a middle name at all, as we didnt just want to pick anything u know.

Oh so much to decide isnt there

Bea is a lovely name and a great way to pay homage I think.

My middle name is Kay, when I'm asked my full name I often have to say "Kay K - A - Y" so they don't think i'm just giving my initial, but that's no hassle and it sometimes gives people a giggle when they ask "what does the K stand for" and I say "Kay" and they say "yeah what does it stand for" and then it becomes like an Abbot and Costello film!

Not sure about Betara, but Beata is definitely a name.
    Another combination could be Babette
    Is Betty short for Elizabeth?

You woudl always use both names as middle names i.e. Baby Barbara Betty/Elizabeth Surname

Also a fan of Bea. I don't really like Betara, but that's just personal preference!

I like 'Bea', because it sounds just like the initial 'B', but also is a real name. Just having the initial 'B' might cause her trouble - people asking what it stands for etc.

Lovely idea to commemmorate both Nans' names.

    i like Bea.

My mums name is Keryn and MIL is Marg and I had a dream that Bella's middle name was Meryn (combined the 2 names) and so it was ...

every time we tell ppl they look funny when we say the name - but when we explain it they love it!
