You can go to birth, deaths and marriages website and you can find out there. It goes way back too whichis really interesting!!

I know that Ella and Jack were the most popular - I have a niece and nephew named those!! All the ones the girls have mentioned are very popular. I read the HErald Sun most days and look at baby's names and I often see:

    Sienna
    Ava

    Cooper
    Jack

And just for interest's sake - the MOST popular middle name I have ever seen - Grace!! Though it is beautiful!

MrsMac, I did the same thing. Well, kinda. I named Riley after my grandmother (an angel is humans clothes) and had considered its popularity and thought it might be on the rise, but next thing I new it was like top of the pops! Was a bit disappointed. Tee hee.

For me, the most common girls names I have come across lately are Sophie/Sophie and Emma. Just from what my friends/acquaintances have been doing. NOne of them have had boys, so don't really have an opinion on popular blue names. Cept for Riley...dang!!!

To me popular doesn't mean bad, it means lots of people agree with your choice LOL

    LOL, great view Mrs Mac.

Unfortunately lately, I have met lots of Lily's! I named her that thinking it was not so popular, but alas, it has become really popular in the last few yrs. It is still a beautiful name and suits her to a t!

Other names would be Aden, Jayden, Dylan
    Ava, Grace, Ashley
