my nephews have uncommon middle names (if they count!)

    Blake Valentine
    &
    Dylan Forrest
    I like them

My friends son is Blaze, although thats not so uncommon, I also went to school with a Blaze.

I cant think of anymore right now, too tired LOL But I know a few people with uncommon names, I'll try to get back & update.

We have a new mum at the school (hello if you lurk)

Her name is B r y n j a. Which I think is really pretty when written down. We asked her how to say it and she said "like Brin' ya own drinks" I can't think of her son's name but the other is pronounced Justice.

I spaced it in the hope google doesn't pick it up when putting it all together LOL

In the last couple of months I have friends that have had baby boys and have called them:

    D j a n g o - pronounced 'jang-go'

    Z e b u l o n

Pretty unusual but it is growing on me
Oh dear... No offense to your friend, but that second one sounds like the villain in a bad sci-fi movie

Well, obviously Ianto is a strange name and my own (Tenielle) isn't one you hear often, especially with that spelling My cousin has a Siobhan (shuh-VON) and a Bodie (boh-dee)

My kids have pretty unique names

    They are

    DD1-Ruqayah(roo-kay-yah)
    DD2- Shayma(shay-ma
    DS1-Hamza

They are arabic names but are not even that common in arabic

I heard the name Qaiss mentioned here and its actually arabic for the name romeo, because in arabic romeo and juliet is Qaiss and Layla.

I love unique names it give your child a little something extra...but not the really out there cruel ones

My name is actually a bit unusual - Kiri (Ki-ree). I don't mind my name, more how my parents came up with it - Dad got it from the Beast Master movie cos a girl in was called Kiri and was a bit of a looker! Lol

The most unusual name I've heard goes to an American lady I heard calling out to her son in the park, it was pretty funny to hear her calling out "Come here Superman!" Apparently his name was Super, so they nicknamed him Superman

DD#1 started preschool last week and there is a boy named Jembe, pronounced Jem-bay.
Didn't realise I hadn't posted in here earlier!
My girls are Tiera (like Kira but with a T, spelt like the tier of a cake) and Hadley, just hhow it's spelt!
If we had a boy with #1 he would have been Chase, very common now and with #2 it would have been Huxley.
I have a friend with Brecklin and Maddex
Also have known Willa, Jyra (Jhy-rah), Cash, Chance, Scout, Destiny, Willan, Alikhy(Allie-khy), Elakhy (E-la-ky), Tyreece, Tyron.... And the list goes one!
There are some lovely 'different' names around these days!

Yeah, that's pretty much the only way to get people to say my name right, it always goes "I'm Kiri" "Kerri?" "No Kiri" "Kira?" "No, Kiri, like Kiri Te Kanawa". Very frustrating lol
