I like it too but as Jak said would have to go with surname.

I've never seen the movie, so I wouldn't have even thought! I forgot all about home improvements neighbour... I just thought of House's bestfriend - (James) Wilson.

    I like the name!

I like it too. It was on my list but DH didn't like due to the cast away reference. I don't think that really matters though. I also had Cameron on my list but DH vetoed that one too

Wilson is a great name with your surname.
Our DD is jemima and everyone says 'jemima puddleduck' or 'jemima from play school' etc then they get over it and realise jemima is jemima her own name for an individual girl.

My brothers are Russell and Andrew both can be surnames and their surname Duncan can be a first.....

I never told MIL or my family for that matter. I didn't want people saying "oh that's nice" or "not sure about that". It was our baby so no one else should influence our choice

I prefer Will over Wilson. Good luck with the names. It's such hard work.

It makes me think of Home Improvement too
Same here. That's the first thing I thought of. As well as Dennis the Menace - Mr Wilson.
