Have you taken a name from a movie for your child? Ok, so it was a few Barbie shows that DD and I were watching, but there were some really nice names! Different names that aren't too out there, but really lovely! Some I heard in Barbie that I liked:

Well- i actually loved the name Cameron since I was a teenager- but it helped alot that one of my favourite actors (which i actually don't know why- just love most of his movies) is Nicolas Cage and one of my favourite movies of his is ConAir- and his character name in the movie is Cameron of course.

And Joshua is also another name I've loved for a long time- but I'm a huge fan of U2- so it helped that they have an album The Joshua Tree.

Well there was this one movie years ago i seen it was only released here on tv, and you cant get it ANYWHERE...
Anywhoo, the two main characters names where Dante & Cross..
Its from the movie The Last Don, yep mafia styles lol..

My nephew is named Memphis after a character in a movie. I can't remember exactly which one but I think it was either Gone in 60 Seconds or Fast & Furious.

It would be Gone in 60 Seconds - another Nicolas Cage movie (well the more recent version anyway). I think I would actually consider Memphis if we have a 3rd boy.

I've had my future children named for years. I'm not to keen saying the names before the babies are born...something about people taking them and using them worries me (because i think they are awesome names - obviously other people might not think so, but i still worry about it) anyway...the point is, my 2nd sons first name is from a movie and my 2nd daughters first and second name are from 2 different movies. =)

We made up DS's name and then there was a movie.... Cars... DS is Romone, in cars its Ramone... We collected the cars stuff for him though, it was cool at the time lol

Haha well DH and I have a disney theme happening it seems.....
our first daughter we want to name Jasmyn (Princess Jasmine from Aladin)
and when thinking of a second name we have come up with Kiara (from the second lion king)

I agree that those Barbie movies have alot of pretty names, DD owns all of them & DS has taken a liking to Barbie aswell so we watch them alot hahaha

My DD2 has both her 1st and 2nd names from Joss Whedon's Firefly series - Kaylee Inara. We just loved them together And now that I think about it our latest DD is called Phoebe - Friends - not that I ever watched the show lol

My Son's name is from Gone with the Wind. (Traveller - Scarlett was on my girl's list) It's more from the book though as it's a small character, one of Scarlett's beaus who then goes off to war, comes home and dies of consumption. Not very romantic but I really loved the name. Cade.
