Names you loved but will never/ have never used.

I LOVED Dashiell (nn Dash) but DP swayed me into another name for our baby boy. I got so close with Dash!

I would love a Clementine for a girl but DP just laughed

I love Camilla for a girl, which is my great grandmother's name, but as DH is a Pom, he won't use it because of Camilla Parker Bowles, how ridiculous.
I love Leon for a boy but no go from Dh so it will be my next cat's name

There were many that DH vetoed, more b/c he didn't like them and I vetoed many of his. We were lucky to agree on the two girls names in the end.

Some of mine were - Caleb, Callum, Elise, Elyssa, Alicia
One of DH's that I would NEVER use was - Yannick

I always wanted to name my daughter Halle, DH hates it. I also love Emily (but too close to DD's name and the name of DH's cousin) and Amy (but two people in DH's family already have that name).

Gees, I have a list a mile long. DH hates all of them. Heaven only knows how we actually named 3 children.
I name I had loved for all eternity was Maeve. It means fairy princess. When I was in my drug-induced-unable-to-verbalise phase after we had DD1 (we didn't know her gender until she arrived) and they asked what her name was, I was desperately willing DH to say Maeve...he said Darcy (the top of his list)...lol she's nothing but a Darcy and I love it....now.

ETA Trav, I only ever loved 3 boys names - two are my Dad and DH's and one is DS'...does that mean I get another girl? I hope so. I have plenty left in the girls name tank lol.

Owen, Noah, Callum, Annaliese, Annabelle, Amelia....my list could go on for a while!

DH and I have very different views on what constitutes a suitable name! I'm surprised our children got named in a timely fashion!
