our other names were:
Girl: Anja and Helena

DH & I clashed on pretty much all our names. I had names picked from 1998 lol. I had picked Cooper & Amelia. He flat out refused to budge on bothI did a deal with DS, and he agreed to choose a name from my list & have Cooper as the middle name. Other names he vetoed: Reuben, Archer, Rowan, Talia, Milla, Mali, Eloise. The list goes on... and on....
Audrey and Ellekah for girls. DH loathes them![]()
Myah Audrey was the name we had for DD if we decided not to use the ones she's been given.
I also wish I could have had a Jack, but due to naming difficulties that would have caused we couldn't.
I always loved Lucinda, Cassidy, Maeve, Sydney (we were sooooo close to using that for DS2 had he been a girl) and she was going to be Sydney Ellen, like Annette Benning's character in The American President. It was the one name we both absolutely loved. I have always had a soft spot for Alice (My great Grandmothers name) and Ruth (my grandmother's name). I would dearly loved to have used Ruthie, but I know she would have freaked out. She really has a thing about not using family names. I don't have a boy's name because I've already used themIf the two girls had of been boys they would have been nameless LOL because we just didn't have anything that we liked for a boy at the time we were having them.
I always wanted Lillian for my daughter(s) when I was little. I was going to have a whole garden of little girls. Then I had a boy, then another boy & when I finally got one of those many many little girls I always thought I would have, Lily was such an over used name I couldn't bring myself to use it. Isla is much prettier anyway :P. Then I went on to have 2 more boys so I was never going to get my Garden of names anyway lol.
I also like Seth & Zenith for boys. But Both names that DH never really put on his maybe list.
Henry for a boy.
Matilda, Stella and Grace for girls. There are actually quite a few girls names but that's all I can think of at the moment...
I got the names I always wanted - especially DD as from when I was young my daughter was always going to be called Tara Rose and that is her name. For the twins Liam had his name pretty much from knowing we were having boys, Rhys' name came about later after DH vetoed the original name picked (Cale).
Boys names: Owen & Euan - were never going to happen as DH's surname ends in EN so was too rhymy for them to work.
Girls name: Brooke, Renee, Eliza - I still love, love Eliza for a girl but if I was to ever have another little girl I would want her name to have 4 letters like the other 3 kids have and also blend in with the 'Irish/Welsh/Celtic theme' we have going![]()
I always wanted Lillian Louise but DH said no as it would be hard for a kid to say.
We had piper or Isla when pg with Eli but would t use either now. Audrey seems to be popular in this thread... I like that for dd dh said no, Eli has since told us, I'm his three year old wisdom we will have a baby called Audrey- so now dh agrees!!!
I liked Addison, Emerson and lucy... Dh said no.
Drake for a boy... DH hated it!
Aurora & Peyton for girls.
Tristan, Hayden & Xander for boys
Kazzo, the one and only name in the world I wanted to call my Daughter was Audrey.
Audrey Catherine (middle name is my name)
Alexis is just about to turn two and I still want that name!!!!
Over my husbands dead body aparently![]()
We had Chloe for the girl we never had![]()
Actually, DH and I decided on names before I was ever pregnant, and we never used them. We would have had Paige and/or Michael if we'd stuck with them. I realised at about 10 weeks with Ianto that we could NOT name our daughter Paige Reid. How did we not realise that?!Once I'd pointed that out we re-thought Michael. I admitted I didn't really like the name. We only ever chose it because we liked the nickname "Mikey". Dumb dumb dumb. I still loooove the name Paige and I'll keep it in mind if I remarry and have a daughter with my new husband
DH is a hard-butt when it comes to names. The ones we've come up with (Ianto/Isabelle, Amelia/Oscar) are the only ones he ever agreed to. Oscar he wasn't a huge fan of, but I flat-out told him that if we had a boy it would be that if he didn't think of a better one. Luckily we had a girl
I've already named our next girl, and he agrees. Just have to think of a boy's name and we're set for one moreMiddle names are ridiculous though. It has to be a J name for every boy but he doesn't like any of my suggestions!

I love Tessa. I can't use it because with our L-ending surname is sounds similar to testicleMaybe not overly noticeable but it is one of those things that you can't unsee.
LOL, it was my top of the list name for A for months, until one day when I said it out loud!
