    OMG

I have NEVER had a favorite boy name. Like EVER. So many favorite girls names but have always been a bit MEH when it comes to boys names.

    Rafferty

I love Rafferty too. It wouldnt get past DH though. *sigh*

I forgot about the CSI thing. Yeah, yuk. I was thinking Ioan Gruffud as Horatio Hornblower. Mmmm
Heathcliff is the best, but no way DH would allow. I may insist on Heath though, should we ever need another boy name
How are you with Philip, Peter, Michael type names?
Alan would provide good alliteration. As would Alistair. Alexander?
Gideon? Would Criminal Minds rule that out?
Reuben was my favorite for DS2 for a while until DH turned his nose up
    Is Oscar still popular?
    Arthur
    Sherlocke?

    I like it.

    Nothing stands out though.

Not sure if it's still popular, it's a great name though

I like Theodore out of your names...it does remind me of Leave it to Beaver, although I doubt anyone would know about that show by the time your little one is old enough...or even now for that matter

I think you need a one or three syllable name.

My grandfathers name is Wilfred! DS was named after his other grandfather, lol. Other names we liked for DS were Maxwell, Oliver, Darcy, Lachlan and Elijah.
I like Leo, but Leonard makes me think of Big Bang theory "my name has nerd in it!

Whenever I hear Leonard, i always think of Virginia Woolf's husband who pretty much drove her bats.

It's a "No" from me sorry.

I love that Albert has come up twice. Last week I dreamed that DD had a brother called Albert, although he wasn't my child. Just not sure if I can pull it off with our surname.

Murdoch was the bad guy in Macgyver. Hey, what about Macgyver? Pretty sure DH couldn't say no to that.

I also think I could sneak Frank through, apart from the Scrabble Board Rule. Unfortunately though, Frank is the name of a family friend of the ILs, and it was Frank who inadvertently caused the great punch-on of Jan 2011. He's a chain smoking disgusting old pervert and I refused to let him touch my 6 week old (by tucking her away in the sling for his entire visit)

I second meow on the no surnames thing. We both loved the name Fletcher, but it had to go.

DH likes Leonard. I'll keep working it. It took us aaaaages with DD, so good to allow plenty of time!
