This might be too out there for your liking.... but clearly I like to walk a little on the wild side with a son named Axel! So I'll just put it out there.
Blaze. This was on my list of boys names for a little while there.
Heath - was DP's first choice, but just didn't suit our little monster when he finally came out.
if they're too weird, just ignore me lol. You don't have to like them too By the way, I have a friend called William, known to everyone as Will. So what do I call him? Wilbert of course, LOL. People will find a nickname no matter what. Axel is known to his Aunty as Axee. Kinda cute.
If I were going to do Wil, it would be short for Wilbur. Or Wilberforce. Or Willoughby.
I looooove Tex. Zac is a bit, ummm, nineties for me. (I think because I was a teenager in that era where everyone was in love with an American celebrity Zac? I just couldn't do it) Would you consider Isaac as a longer form?
DS has 'Tex' as one of his middle names, and to be honest it is the one name that is getting used the most. We got Tex from Tex Perkins - the australian singer/songwriter who DH is mad about. I was dubious about the name when he suggested it but now I love it and wonder if we should have used it as a first, not third name!
Audax, I live in a small town and Isaac is VERY common here. I do like it but want something a little more unusual. My DH is the one who wants Zac. I'm not so keen on it for the same reason.
Tex is still at the top of my list. I love it more and more everyday. I'm pretty sure DH is coming around... Let's hope so! DS's name wasn't even on our list though so, who knows, we might just come up with something on the spot once he is born!
