    e. Charlie-Ava Elizabeth

    b. Cruize Phoenix Axel

Have you considered Cruise for a boy? Cruz is traditionally pronounced "cruth" and I'm thinking you might be after the "cruise" sound. Also, not to be mean, but some of the spellings you are thinking of are going to cause years of torment for your child. From adults more than other children, which really hurts.

I quite like Charlea - I've never seen it spelt that way before, and it looks very nice, feminine while not being too feminine, if you get what I mean? I would, however, take away the hyphen. I'm not personally a fan of hyphenated first names, but of course it's up to you Similarly, I don't like the name Cruz (or any variant spellings) so I can't help there

First - I REALLY like both of your names.... well Charli is my daughters name, but I really love Cruz!

My daughters name is Charlize, but if I spell her shorter name Charlie, a lot of people think it is a boy. When I was playing around with Charlea a lot people thought it was Char-lee-a. After much thought I picked Charlize and just take off the ze for her nickname. This sounds silly but I didn't want her to have to spell her name or have people mis pronounce it so I made it as easy as possible.

All your different spellings or Cruz are really good! I think I would spell it Cruze, just for simplicity but then something different is always nice!

p.s. Funny story - I was spelling DD2's name over the phone one to the health insurance and said 'it's Elisabeth with an S'..... When I got the paper work she had put Elifabeth.

Who would name their daughter Elifabeth?

    good luck with choosing! xx
