Opinions on names for our twin boys

Hi Everyone

I am wanting your opinion on the names we have tentatively chosen for our little boys. We have really struggled with boys names but I wanted to keep the tradition going of using Irish names for the boys as DD's name is Irish and so is their surname.

So we have narrowed it down to:

Liam James
Cale Patrick

DH wants to use James as a middle name at it is his Father's middle names and to follow suit we have chosen Patrick as this is my Father's middle name. Plus this will follow a tradition on my side of the family of having a family name used as a middle name.

We are still open to suggestions, if anyone can think of any other names. Although we only like short names that can't really be shortened any further IYKWIM.

They are both great names, flow really well.

A couple of short gaelic/irish names that are great are Tadgh and Galen.

I really LOVE Cale (and Kade/ Cade) and think both names go beautifully with their middle names.
I have always loved the name Tadgh, and if I get a nephew in a couple of weeks time thats what his names will be!

I think we are pretty set on Liam, we are just getting our head around Cale as we have friends who have a little boy called Kade. But Cale is the only other name that both DH & I can agree on and seeing we have still got a little while before they arrive I'm sure it will grow on us more.

I like Tadgh as well but DH would have problems trying to pronounce and spell it all the time so we are trying to go for something else unusual but not too out there....
