    Our first two girls names...

Ok so we have had a boys name since before DD was conceived so that is easy but not that is not so easily said for a girls name, we have been chatting and these two names have been given the 'write it down on a list' by DH ...

    Amber
    Lacey

The middle name will either be Sage or Mae if Sage doesn't suit.

    What do you think?

Personally I am not a fan but its what you guys like!

Sage is lovely and so is Mae.

With a lovely name like Matilda i think you need something that goes well with it, and I dont think Amber and Lacey do.

    sorry

I'm with feeb. I do like the name Amber, but I don't thinnk it "fits" with Matilda. Lacey's not a favourite either.

I went to school with a Lacey. She was a great person but her nick name was lacey knickers and I've never been able to forget it. And I agree with Feeb. Sorry.

I love Lacey. Dh and I are arguing over a name for if this baby is a girl. I absolutely love lacey but he think it sounds like an old lady. I dont think so. Anyway, I say go Lacey.

I love Lacey also, I think it is very pretty.

I love old lady names although DH is not so keen, this is the only one that he has allowed to slip through so far.

I would ideally like a longer first name but I am finding it hard to find one that both DH and I like, the only one he has said maybe to so far is Annabelle, I love the name Annie.

I love Charlotte, he hates it!

All comments welcome by the way .

I prefer Lacey over Amber and I think Lacey Mae sounds quite sweet.

    What about:
    Hannah
    Annaliese
    Cassidy
    Megan
    Monique
    Violet

I like Annabelle Sage, I really want Sage as a middle name BUT I love love love the name Annie Mae so I think if we were to go with Annabelle it would be Annabelly Mae and Annie Mae for short. Annabelle is actually our name of choice if we can't think of anything better .

Love Amelia Feeb but DH does not, I have bought it up a few times actually.

I also really like Violet (and and flower name) but DH is not a fan .

I like both, but prefer Amber. I'd probably choose Kacey/Kasey over Lacey as it has no common word associations.

I think Amber Sage flows nicely, but I'd have to put Mae with Lacey, as with Lacey Sage the 'see & say' sounds run into each other.

    So...
    Amber Sage
    Lacey Mae

Both lovely I think. Good luck with your decision!!
