I should have said our last name starts with H and is quite unusual but it sounds great with all four names

So the initials would be ash also like dh. I am a fan of this as ds1 has my initals and ds2 has dh initals.
I like ashlyn better but it may be too close to sil name and if dd is an old fashioned name Audrey would go better.

    I like Ethan Jacob

    Me too

Isaac was on our shortlist as well.

I like Ashlyn. It wouldn't worry me that an aunty (of the child) had a similar name.

    hey Taurean

i love all the names! Funnily enough i have jacob and ethan both on my list as well. I am also having the same issue with Ethan having a nickname and if it sounds good for a forty year old as well as a boy, but i do like it a little bit more than jacob.

I work with an audrey and she is lovely. that is my pick for the girl name.

i tend to take names of my list if they sound familar to family names or the shortnened versions are the same. it does make it confusing if you spend a lot of time together with the person.
