I like Malia the best, it's very pretty TBH to me Rheyden sounds like a boys name.

    I love Malia...

Perhaps something to keep in mind though, a close friend of mine has a little girl named Malia and said to me that she wishes she had've considered the spelling of her name more as she is forever correcting people who call her Ma-lia instead of Mah-lee-ah if that makes sense? Not sure which way you're planning on pronouncing it but she prefers Ma-Leah but people say Mah-Lia as in Somalia the country... Aaah I hope that makes sense lol

Gorgeous name though, sounds adorable with Anne!

    Good Luck!!

i like them both but would pick Rheyden (ray den) over Malia (only coz it reminds me of maleria, that disease)

I prefer the spelling Malea though.

I would pronounce it Rayden too, if I saw it, and I don't personally find Redden a nice sounding name.
Malia is nice but I agree that you need to add a 'h' if you want it to be pronounced "mah".

Also, I think I was told by a paramedic that 'melina' (or similar pronunciation) is when a patient vomits their own poo?...

I think that they don't sound particularly similar but even if they did, it is her middle name, not her first name, so it's not like it's really going to matter - unless she is known by her middle name instead of her first name.
