hmm...not sure what names you like, but here's my two cents
Kaitlyn Cynthia Slater
Amara Cynthia Slater
Goodluck!
So right now I am a bit annoyed with my last name..
We are trying to think of a girls name, we have the middle and the last but no first names had stuck untill a few days ago when I saw the movie 'the book of eli' (and now I like eli as a boys name.)
Anyway, that name was Selara. But it just doesn't work, because Selara Cynthia Slater is a bit of a tongue twister. I wanted to use Cynthia as a middle name because it's my mum's name, but nothing seems to go with it! Grr!!
Can anybody help?
***** Cynthia Slater. Or maybe it's not do-able?
TIA

Goodluck.
What kind of names do you like? Short or long? Modern or classic? Weird or normal...
Anything that goes really, on our list we've had:
Hillary
Zahli
Kaylee
So not terribly unusual names, but ones you wouldnt hear everyday.
I can see what you mean with the three names together yeh it's having to say so many names sounding like ' S ' (and what a shame as Selara, sounds so pretty)
... really like Zahli of your three names there
Seeing i'm your P.I.G don't know whether it's too much for you if i put a few names here but yeh i will just do it anyway in case there might be something you like or like similar (me too like unusual names but not whacky, lol)
Adele
Alana
Ariane
Ashmita
Breeana
Corrine
Erin
Lorinda
Lyla
Tess
Terese
Trelise
I'd go for a single syllable name. Slater has two syllable's, Cynthia has three and it always seems to work better if you vary the number of syllable's. Also avoid the ending of one name and the first letter of the next being the same... it's harder to say.
Thanks smilesI had also been thinking of Adele but with a double L as a secong name as it is a mixture of both my sisters names.
Bathsheba, you have a good point! I am kind of stuck still even more though.![]()
hoping for a boy.. girls are too hard!
I wouldn't worry. What are the chances she'll be a Slater forever?
Otherwise, maybe you would like:
Faye
Ellie
Bridget
Marie
Alison
Mirium
Margaret
Louise
Angeline
OK, they're "Normal" names, but ones that I haven't heard on a lot of children recently.
